All religious traditions seek wisdom, yet have difficulty defining it. This three- session course will explore Wisdom/Chochma/Sophia, which is often portrayed as both radiant and hidden, kind and cunning, created and creative, seductive and demure, granting both blessing and pain, crying out yet often ignored.
Anchored by three Jewish Hassidic stories, we will bring life experience and knowledge to the search, supported by words from both Jewish and Christian tradition. Enjoy a lively, facilitated discussion inviting participants to hear the voice of Wisdom in their lives.
Sponsored by Wisdom Ways, taught by Rev. Dr. John Marboe and Rabbi Alan Shavit-Lonstein.
